Thanks again for all your continued efforts and your valued contributions towards Taka Cricket and we’re now aiming to put the “fun” in fundraising again this year with our Yellow Pages delivery day on the 21^st of May.

It’s been an interesting season to say the least and with many games and events being rain affected it’s important that we boost our finances to keep maintaining and improving our club facilities and our Yellow Pages day is a critical part of that.

Essentially, we’ll be running the day from 8am till 4 pm, unless we finish earlier which will be very likely if we get the numbers we’re hoping for and then it’s down the club for a thank you sausage sizzle and BBQ for everyone. If you can only do a 2-3 hour stint, that’s absolutely fine, just let us know what works for you and we’ll go from there.

Some of you have already committed, and thanks very much for that, but we need a fair number more family groups, and the more help we get the faster the job is done.

Next steps:

• Anyone who has a large ute or trailer and can be a distribution hub on the day, very much appreciated.
• We now need family groups (adults/youth and juniors) to help us with this project and each volunteer family group to distribute around 100-500 copies in your preferred area depending on time and capability.
• For the youth/junior volunteers, we suggest that they have the support of an adult to assist with the transport logistics.
• We are looking for volunteers to work either 8 hours on either day or a 4-hour shift on either day.
• We can also be very flexible about time durations as we have maps of all the streets and will allocate accordingly. Any help will be greatly appreciated, whether it’s 2, 4 or the whole 8 hours.
