WOMEN AND GIRLS

Takapuna is the 'Home of Women & Girls Cricket' in North Harbour, with teams in every age group of the Auckland Cricket Association's Women & Girls Competitions. Our goal is to champion female cricket by increasing participation at all levels. 

We support players of all abilities, from beginners to future White Ferns. Our teams regularly reach finals and often win, with many players advancing to higher honors thanks to our coaching and opportunities provided.

Women & Girls Grades & Fees – 2024/2025 season

Girls U11 - Junior (softball)

Subscription:                                                   $115
Full Season - Six Friday evenings pre Xmas and six Friday evenings post Christmas.
Friday evenings. Grade within Kookaburra Cup. Game approx. 2 hours.

Takapuna Junior T10 Girls Casual Comp (U13)  - Non Takapuna Players welcome subject to availability

Subscription Half Season: - 4 sessions            $50

Friday Evenings – 4pm - 5.30pm

Played on Artificial Pitch at Onewa

Ball used – Kooka Star (The Kookaburra Star ball features a quality two piece rubberised cover with contrast stitching and a heavy foam core for transitioning to a leather ball).

Gear – players to bring their own kit ( protective gear required).

Minimum 8 players and maximum 10 players per team

Player eligibility – Saturday morning hard ball players are welcome to take part in this competition, subject to paying $50 fees in addition to their Saturday cricket fees.

T20 on Saturday mornings; 8 per team, 20 overs per innings, game approx. 2.5 hours.

Sub includes End of Year Team Photo of the Saturday Team.

 

TDCC Friday night U11 Girls are eligible to play in this tournament) at an extra cost of $60 (full season) on top of their U11 fees.
